Backup & Disaster Recovery
Pricing is based on three steps: First, identify the servers, storage systems, and end-point devices that need to be protected. Then, determine their types and volumes of data. That information can then be used to determine the monthly cost for each service level, allowing you to choose a plan that meets your needs and budget. You only pay for your level of service.
Traditional backup service utilizing existing storage resources, and dependent upon someone in the organization being responsible for transporting nightly backup copies from your facility to a remote location. Best suited for scenarios when the service interuption results from technical malfunctions, and where the recovery is made to the original physical machine. This plan would be least suitable in the event the full system was either destroyed or corrupted as would the case with either a severe natural disaster or ransomware episode due to the extreme amount of time required to affect a recovery. Benefits:
Get physical and virtual data backups off site to the cloud without the cost and complexity of building and maintaining a cloud infrastructure. Intersect's Veeam Cloud Connect Backup provices a fully integrated, fast and secure way to backup your data to a cloud repository.
Intersect's Veeam Cloud Connect Backup delivers power and reliable features and functionality to help you avoid the risk of catastrophic data loss, including:
Intersect offers Veeam Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) as part of a comprehensive Availability strategy, embracing virtualiztion and storage investments in your data center and expanding them throughout the cloud. Affordable and efficient image-based VM replication delivers true cloud-based disaster recovery (DR) for ALL applications (RTPOs 15 minutes) through the best and most trusted DRaaS solution anywhere.
The practical difference between backup and recovery plans is the time that would be required to regain the use of your data in the event of an outage resulting from ransomware. In such a case, it is improbable that you could initially restore to your existing hardware in a timely manner - unless you currently have a virtualized environment. Then, assuming the host is not compromised, backup VMs could readily replace those diabled by ransomware. Otherwise, in order to restore operations quickly, the best strategy is to restore to VMs (virtual machines) running in the cloud. A cloud-based VM environment could be activated within minutes, and all that would be necessary to access the system in the cloud is an Internet connection.
Regulations require that healthcare organizations store patient records for lengthy amounts of time. Veeam Cloud Tier enables customers to achieve considerably lower costs through object storage, allowing organizations to determine what goes to object storage for more savings and what they keep on-premises.
Veeam Datalabs deliver added business value without disrupting the business. Datalabs is a set of powerful features that enables IT and Developers to test workloads, validate updates & patches, test for security and compliance issues and ensure recoverability of backups in a safe environment - without affecting production.
Data portability is critical for organizations to maintain speed and control of their environments. In high-growth organizations, the ability to scale to meet organizational or data growth is critical, and with Veeam customers can keep expense and unplanned purchases under control with the ability to migrate and recover any on-premise workload to AWS or Azure in two simple steps without the need for costly additional resources.
